Corrections
When a story gets a fact wrong, we fix it, say what changed and keep the earlier wording visible. A mistake that is quietly removed teaches readers nothing.
What we correct
We correct errors of fact: a wrong name, title, date, quote or number, a claim attributed to the wrong person, and a clip that leaves out something that changes its meaning. We do not change a story because someone dislikes it. A disagreement about interpretation is not an error. Where a fair reply exists, we add it.
How a correction is shown
The corrected story carries a note at the top with the date and what was wrong. If the error was in a video caption, the caption is edited and the note appears on the story page. A serious error leads to a new post that says so.
How to report an error
Message us through the Rockstar Senators account on Instagram (@rockstarsenators) or comment on the YouTube channel (@RockstarSenators). Say which story, what is wrong and, if you can, where the right information is published. We read every report.
